Description
Valerie Steele, director of the Museum at FIT, talks with the Roger Vivier creative director Bruno Frisoni and the Vivier brand ambassador Inès de la Fressange. Roger Vivier's legendary shoe designs were favored by Audrey Hepburn, Catherine Deneuve, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elsa Schiaparelli, Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly, and Brigitte Bardot. He is credited with introducing the stiletto heel, and is best known for his iconic buckle pumps. Presented in conjunction with the Museum at FIT exhibit, "Shoe Obsession." April 2013.
