Part presentation, part Q&A, FIT's "Faces & Places in Fashion" lecture series is an opportunity to connect students and the public alike to the pulse of the fashion industry in an open and conversational setting.
Mr. Mendelson describes his career in fashion merchandising, including positions at Macy's, Ann Taylor, Eli Tahari, and his current position as Chief Merchandise Officer at Jones Apparel, where he develops brands. He is joined by models showing Summer 2006 fashions as he describes his interest in offering clothes that are designed to be comfortable and attractive for today's woman.
