Welcome to the forefront of the beauty landscape, where inclusivity is not just a buzzword, but a powerful movement reshaping boardrooms, labs, and campaigns.
We are ushering in a new era, celebrating diversity in skin tones, body types, genders, and ages like never before. However, amidst this wave of progress, a significant demographic remains underrepresented: 15–20% of the global population identified as neurodiverse or people with disabilities (PWD).
With a staggering spending power exceeding $13 trillion, their inclusion is not just a moral imperative, but a lucrative opportunity for growth. Our mission? To champion a holistic approach to inclusivity, weaving accessibility into every aspect of the beauty experience. -

Unlocking lasting and equitable economic access lies in addressing an often overlooked challenge: deserts.
Today, deserts are a pressing phenomenon affecting consumers across critical sectors. In the United States alone, 121 million consumers live in healthcare deserts and nearly 54 million in food deserts. With a glaring lack of access to essential goods and services across food and healthcare, it begs the question: what deserts exist within beauty?
Introducing an industry-first concept of beauty deserts, our mission is to identify the unmet needs of consumers in deserts, create widespread access to fundamental beauty products and services, and reignite our responsibility to serve consumers of all socioeconomic strata. -

While the beauty industry has long championed women’s empowerment, one vital area has been overlooked: hormonal health.
From puberty to menopause and beyond, women contend with hormonal fluctuations that lead to many beauty concerns for which they find scant support. Despite the growing convergence of wellness and beauty, women’s holistic hormonal needs are often sidelined, perpetuating feelings of neglect and invisibility.
Our mission? To bridge this gap by advocating for research, accessible education, and products tailored to women’s comprehensive well-being. -

"This year's capstone research focuses on guiding organizations through the evolving landscape of beauty and accessibility. The class of 2024 delves into three critical topics: (1) the emotional impact of inclusivity on consumer perceptions and organizational culture; (2) the economic consequences of deserts, and expanding access to fundamental beauty products and services; and (3) the social implications at the crossroads of beauty, wellness, and societal norms.
From fostering a more inclusive environment to addressing economic disparities and promoting social justice, our research aims to equip organizations with the insights and strategies needed to thrive in a diverse and dynamic beauty industry. Join us as we delve into the transformative power of inclusivity and equity, and discover how organizations can adapt to better meet the evolving needs of consumers and communities." --event description. - Rights
