Kei Pearllin Martin (aka Miss Pearl) was the driving force behind the 2023 documentary, Playing With Dolls, and championed this film from its inception. She is a 1982 Fashion Design graduate from FIT and has been a couture wedding gown and evening gown designer for over 45 years. Her couture has appeared in magazines and the showroom of I. Kleinfeld & Sons. Miss Pearl began her gender transition in 2004 and has been a featured vocalist and entertainer at legendary New York nightclubs, before becoming a documentarian.
