Faces and Places in Fashion: Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti

Part presentation, part Q&A, FIT's "Faces & Places in Fashion" lecture series is an opportunity to connect students and the public alike to the pulse of the fashion industry in an open and conversational setting.
CEO and founder of Vivre, Inc. Ms. Jeanbart-Lorenzotti explains how the current climate of economic uncertainty creates an environment for challenge and opportunity. She argues that there is an excess of products but there is always an opportunity to chang consumer behavior. She goes on to describe how she developed her company as a high-end, luxury online catalog service, emphasizing how she selected a very specific demographic profile for her customer. She also provides advice for qualities that are necessary to succeed in fashion merchandising.
Introduced by Alice Papazian.
