Description

FIT’s Hue Live is a series of intimate conversations featuring the people and stories that define FIT. Starting in spring 2020, when connecting the FIT community around common interests and pursuits is more important than ever, Hue’s managing editor, Alex Joseph, will speak with some of FIT’s most talented and influential alumni across a range of industries. Hue Live is hosted by Alex Joseph, MA Fashion and Textile Studies ’15, managing editor of Hue, the FIT magazine. He has been interviewing and writing about alumni and other industry luminaries for the college for 20 years.
In the first-ever Hue Live event, Josh Bennett will discuss his career with Hue Managing Editor Alex Joseph.
Josh Bennett, Menswear ’12, designs a hand-knitted luxury sweater collection sold at Bergdorf Goodman, and partnered with Marvel to create a limited-edition collection Marvel x Josh Bennett. He was the men’s sweater designer at Tommy Hilfiger and has worked with Gant by Michael Bastian, Perry Ellis, Alexander Wang, and Vogue Knitting. Pre-social distancing, he could be found hosting [email protected], a weekly knitting party at Club Cumming, actor Alan Cumming’s East Village cabaret.
