Faces and Places in Fashion: Art Ortenberg
Subject
Description
Part presentation, part Q&A, FIT's "Faces & Places in Fashion" lecture series is an opportunity to connect students and the public alike to the pulse of the fashion industry in an open and conversational setting.
Mr. Ortenberg describes the final years of his life with wife and business partner Liz Claiborne and reflects on how the fashion industry is changing and what impact this will have on people entering that world. He uses the history of the Liz Claiborne company as a way of describing the industry.
