Faces and Places in Fashion: Mark Mendelson

Part presentation, part Q&A, FIT's "Faces & Places in Fashion" lecture series is an opportunity to connect students and the public alike to the pulse of the fashion industry in an open and conversational setting.
Mr. Mendelson describes his career in fashion merchandising, including positions at Macy's, Ann Taylor, Nine West Apparel, Eli Tahari, Jones Apparel, and his current position as president of Ellen Tracy, where he is in charge of 12 brands. The focus of the Ellen Tracy market is the 60 million women who are 40+ sophisticated, stylish and who are looking for attractive and comfortable clothes and eye-catching accessories.
