Founder and president of the design company and retail operation Theory, Inc., Andrew Rosen describes his early years working with Calvin Klein before starting Theory, Inc. in 1997. After Theory was bought by the Japanese company Fast Retailing which owns Uniqlo, Rosen explains the challenges of working for a huge global enterprise. His interest has consistently been the contemporary segment of the apparel market. He also talks about the next generation of the fashion industry, the importance of globalization, changes in advertising, and shopping patterns.
