Faces and Places in Fashion: Lauren Dudley Stephens
Subject
Description
Part presentation, part Q&A, FIT's "Faces & Places in Fashion" lecture series is an opportunity to connect students and the public alike to the pulse of the fashion industry in an open and conversational setting.
As Co-Founder, CEO and the face of Dudley Stephens, Lauren manages product design, styling, branding and marketing, strategic partnerships, and the creative execution of the brand. Her vision and expertise are complemented by years of prior experience in celebrity dressing and VIP relations for leading fashion houses Calvin Klein and Gucci. In developing the Dudley Stephens collection, Lauren combines her essential classic-style sensibility with an instinctive understanding of customers’ preferences. As a mother of two young children, George and Elle, Lauren believes that good style and versatility for modern women can and should be synonymous. “We shouldn’t have to choose between looking chic and feeling comfortable,” she says. “Our brand was built on the idea that we should have both.” Lauren lives in Greenwich, CT with her family. She holds a B.A. from Duke University.
