About This Video

Title

Fashion Culture: Fairy Tale Imagery

Description

Visual artists Natalie Frank and Kirsty Mitchell joined Colleen Hill, curator of the MFIT exhibition "Fairy Tale Fashion", to discuss the use of fairy tale imagery in their work. Frank’s recent exhibition, "The Brothers Grimm", featured 25 chalk and pastel drawings. Mitchell’s dream-like photographs intertwine fantasy, literature, and personal meditations. Organized in collaboration with FIT’s Gladys Marcus Library.
This event was held March 31, 2016 at The Museum at FIT, NYC.
